The SKY HDU is the sky model per-fiber accounting for different fiber resolutions, but it does not include the empirical per-fiber throughput correction in the THRPUTCORR HDU. The final sky model per fiber is SKY * THRPUTCORR.

EXTNAME = SKY

2D array of sky flux model of dimension [nspec, nwave] in units of electrons per Ansgtrom (fiber flat fielded). nspec is the number of fibers per camera. nwave in the length of the wavelength array. The spectra of all fibers share the same wavelength grid (given in HDU WAVELENGTH). The sky model is different for each fiber because it is adapted to the resolution of each fiber, it contains corrections on bright sky line, and in some cases an anisotropic component.
